Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to create and deliver your pet's memorial:

• Account & contact details — your name and email address, so we can deliver your memorial and respond to support requests.
• Memorial content — your pet's name, the stories and details you share, and the photos you upload.
• Order & usage data — order numbers, processing status, email delivery logs, and basic technical information (browser, device, IP address) needed to operate the service securely.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiration date, and security code are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by Paws Remembered. We receive only a payment confirmation, the amount, and a Stripe reference identifier so we can associate your order with your memorial.

Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by their own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

The photos and memories you upload are used solely to generate your memorial video. We do not sell, license, share, or use your content for advertising, model training, or any purpose beyond creating and delivering your memorial and providing customer support.

Uploaded files and memorial details are stored on secure, access-controlled storage. You can request deletion of your photos and memorial content at any time by emailing support@pawsremembered.net.

• To create, render, and deliver your memorial video.
• To send order confirmations, completion notices, and support replies.
• To monitor reliability, prevent fraud, and keep the service secure.
• To comply with legal obligations when required.

We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, scoped access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to apply reasonable, modern protections at every layer.

Our site uses a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in to your order, remember your progress through the memorial wizard, and operate the checkout flow. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage and improve the experience. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects pseudonymous identifiers along with standard event data — including page views and a small set of interaction events (for example, when a memorial is created, a sample is played, a payment completes, a photo upload finishes, a memorial is downloaded or shared, or the contact form is submitted). We do not sell personal information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across the web by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, email support@pawsremembered.net. You can also unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link in the footer of those messages.

Paws Remembered is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
